Introduction
Founded in 1880, ANDO CLOISSONNE is a well-established cloisonné store which has been a purveyor to the Imperial Household Agency since 1900.
History
ANDO CLOISSONNE was founded in 1880 and opened the Tokyo Ginza store in 1890. Later on, it became a purveyor to the Imperial Household Agency in 1900, and the gold trophy was awarded to them at the Paris Exposition of 1900. Its own factory located in Nagoya has been designated as an Intangible Cultural Properties of Japan by the National Commission for Protection of Cultural Properties.
