Ginza Koju | kokosil Ginza

Ginza Koju is an old-established incense store founded in the Tensho Era (the late 16^th century). Surprisingly, it was patronized by Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu. The store name derived from 'Kojuttoku,' doctrine of the incense ceremony existed in the Muromachi Period. There are a variety of Japanese incenses and utensils ranging from very traditional, authentic products to newly-designed products for modern lifestyles. Also, they offer a class of Kodo which is the art of appreciating aroma of incense.
