Monument of Shimazaki Toson and Kitamura Tokoku | kokosil Ginza

The great writer Shimazaki Toson (1872-1943) and the pioneer of the modern romanticism in Japan, Kitamura Tokoku (1868-1894) were students at the Taimei Elementary School situated at the back of Hankyu Department Store. Toson and Tokoku both rustled in the periodical “Bungakukai.”
