Site of the Sukiyabashi Bridge
The Sukiyabashi Bridge was constructed in 1629 to guard the surrounding area of Edo Palace with the famous south Tokyo court (Minami-machi Bugyo-sho) on its Yuraku-cho side. After the Great Kanto Earthquake, it was restructured as a more aesthetic stone bridge. Since then, it became popular as the entrance to Ginza.
