Regarding the bringing of pets

Please refrain from bringing your pet to food stores, restaurants and cafés.

Assistance dogs, or dogs that provide support for people with audio, visual or other disabilities, are allowed to accompany their handlers into the building.

English or Chinese speaking shopping consultants will attend to your shopping needs at no charge.

Please ask for this service at the Shopping Navigator counter at the Lion Statue Entrance or contact our sales staff on each floor.

We offer tourist pamphlets and maps in foreign languages, as well as a variety of guides and information about our neighboring facilities.

We have a money exchange machine that provides exchange of eight currencies (US Dollar, Euro, Chinese Renminbi, Taiwan Dollar, Korean Won, Thai Baht, Hong Kong Dollar and Singapore Dollar).

You can exchange these foreign currencies into Japanese Yen at the exchange rate of the day.

Available denominations: 10,000 and 1,000 bills, 100, 10 and 1 yen coins

Available language options: Japanese, English, Chinese and Korean

Money exchange from Japanese Yen to foreign currencies is not available.

A "Guest Card" is issued for overseas Mitsukoshi Isetan Membership cardholders to enjoy a five-percent discount on purchases made at the Mitsukoshi Isetan Group department stores in Japan.

To apply, please visit the Tax Refund Counter on the M2 floor, and present your overseas Mitsukoshi Isetan Membership card along with your passport. The Guest Card will be issued on the spot.

When you make a purchase at the applicable stores, please present the Guest Card and your passport to receive a five-percent discount on cash or China UnionPay card purchases.

Foreign customers and Japanese customers coming back temporarily, who wish to receive consumption tax exemption

If the total amount of tax-exempt items you purchased at Ginza Mitsukoshi in one day is 10,001 yen or more excluding tax, you can receive a consumption tax refund.
In that case, we reserve the right to charge you a service fee of 1.1% of the amount of the items.

Where to follow the tax exemption procedure :
Tax Exemption Counter on the Mezzanine level

Customers who can apply for tax exemption :
Non-residents residing in Japan with residence status for a short stay, etc., of not more than six months after entering Japan, who intend to take the purchased items out of the country.

Day to apply for tax exemption :
You should apply for tax exemption on the same day when you purchase the items (during opening hours).

What is needed to apply for tax exemption :
The purchaser's passport, receipt of purchased items, and credit card (if you made payment by credit card)
In principle, the passport holder must follow the procedure.
If the name on your passport does not match the name printed on the receipt or credit card, we cannot accept your refund request.
We also cannot accept any refund request made by your proxy.

Non-tax-exempt items :
Food products, beverages, cosmetics, tobacco, drugs, films, battery cells, restaurant bills, domestic delivery chrges, goods for commercial use, and other consumables

For purchases made at Ginza Mitsukoshi, we provide free delivery service to the following hotels on the same day.

We cannot provide this service or keep your purchased items after the designated operating hours.

The hotel delivery service cannot be extended to personal effects, items purchased at other stores, valuables, cash, cash vouchers, perishable food, food requiring temperature control and fragile items.
Please note that you cannot specify the date and time for delivery.
